About Our Myrtle Beach Veterinarian Team
Dr. Fotorny was born and raised in upstate New York. In 2003, she received a Bachelors of Science from Clemson University, in 2007, a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, with finishing at the University of Georgia. She has extensive experience in both corporate and private practice, and has been practicing in the Myrtle Beach area since 2007.
Dr. Fotorny currently has one English bulldog named Daisy Mae who is the actual owner of the practice, or so she thinks, and a black cat named Duke. Duke believes he is the CEO…but hey even a cat can dream.
Lisa has been a resident of Myrtle Beach for four years. A New Jersey native who worked in a physical therapy office for nine years before relocating to South Carolina. Her passion for animals was what brought her to the decision to leave the human medical field and pursue a career as a veterinary assistant. Lisa spent four years with another area clinic before we were so blessed to add her to our team. Lisa enjoys spending time with her daughter and their three Staffordshire Bull Terriers Aiden, Ready and Bubba. Her dogs lead an active lifestyle by participating in a variety of dog sports from lure coursing to weight pulling. An advocate for responsible dog ownership and training, Lisa's pets boast a number of titles from AKC Canine Good Citizen, obedience, Rally-O, Lure Coursing, Therapy dog, temperament Test and Weight pull. As you can see Lisa spends a lot of time with her pets and is very proud of their accomplishments.
